Not Guilty – Unlawful Contact with A Minor – Commonwealth v. MS

“The Commonwealth charged MS with sexually assaulting a minor. Ms. Snyder’s meticulous preparation of the case paid off at a bench trial when the complainant began to introduce a story to the court that she had never stated before. Ms. Snyder was able to confront the complainant with her previous statements and show the judge that she was not a credible witness. Ms. Shaw spent hours orchestrating witness lists and preparing each witness for their testimony at trial. Ms. Shaw’s mastery of the forensic interview allowed Ms. Snyder to confront the Commonwealth’s witnesses with precision.

The Judge was moved by Ms. Snyder’s closing arguments where she highlighted all of the inconsistencies in the complainant’s testimony and her motive to lie. MS was found not guilty of all charges and was able to walk out of the courtroom with his family.

If you are faced with sexual assault charges, an experienced criminal defense attorney in Philadelphia, PA, can make sure that your side of the story will be heard. Working together, we will investigate the events, offer compelling evidence, and aggressively defend you against such serious charges in court. Our team of dedicated lawyers is ready to assist you throughout the entire legal process.”
